Privacy policy

StitchFileConverter is built to work without an account. We collect as little as possible.

Files and inputs you use in the tool

Your inputs and files are processed in your browser. We do not store them.

Embroidery files you open, including PES, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3, XXX, PEC, and U01, stay in this browser. A paid pack is built in memory from the stitch coordinates and color stops already read, then sent back as a download. We do not store the file, the coordinates, or the pack.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe, which receives your payment details and email address. We receive a payment confirmation and an anonymous customer reference. We never see your card number.

What we store

To remember what you paid for, we store an anonymous access record (plan, status, expiry or remaining uses) and a one-way keyed hash of the email address you paid with, so you can sign in on another device. We cannot turn that hash back into your email address. Sign-in emails are sent through our email provider. A single strictly necessary cookie keeps you signed in on this browser.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It counts page views and a few anonymous events such as starting the tool.
